Rod Milne's Retirement - 31st December 2009
We bid a fond farewell to Rod on his retirement at the end of 2009. The time-line of his long career in insurance and Milne Friend looks like this...

• 1968 - Rod started working for General Accident.
• 1973 - Rod left GA and started working for the Provincial.
• 1979 - Rod became a partner in the insurance broking firm.
• 1982 - Firm becomes Milne Friend and Partners
• 1983 - Company moves to Verney House.
• 1984 - Liz joins the company.
• 1990 - Ann joins the company.
• 1994 - Mike joins the company.
• 1995 - Partner Alan Friend retires.
• 1996 - Rod purchases another insurance brokerage, Challengers.
• 1999 - Son Jamie joins the business.
• 2001 - Business moves to Renslade House.
• 2002 - Son Peter joins the business.
• 2005 - Son Jon joins the business.
• 2009 - After 30 years, Rod retires from the business.
